Details of the Job/Internship

9Point Capital is hiring a Legal and Compliance Officer with 2+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare, review, and analyse legal documents.
• Address legal issues and support regulatory compliance processes.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and update internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments on legal and compliance matters.
• Assist in risk assessment and management.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B/LL.M).
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations applicable to FinTech and digital assets.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in legal roles and 1+ years in financial services.
• Experience working with the Companies Act.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide strategic legal advice.
