Details of the Job/Internship
The D. E. Shaw group is hiring for the position of legal and compliance specialist with 1-3 years of experience to join them in Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will review a variety of data evaluation and license agreements and conduct comprehensive risk assessments with a special focus on MNPI and PII. You will also be involved in other legal and compliance projects such as assessment of potential consultants and the annual compliance evaluation of existing data vendors. Additionally, you will also get the opportunity to collaborate with attorneys in other offices of the D. E. Shaw group on various agreements and miscellaneous projects.
Eligibility
- A bachelor’s degree in law.
- An impressive record of academic achievement along with 1-3 years of experience, including experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating licensing, technology, and other commercial contracts.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical ability, outstanding judgment, keen attention to detail, and proven drafting and communication skills.
- Excellent project planning and management skills.
