Details of the Job/Internship

KPMG India is hiring a Legal and Compliance Consultant with expertise in legal advisory, compliance risk assessment, and multi-sector legal frameworks to join their Bangalore office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance risk assessments, reviews, and audits.
• Create compliance documents including SOPs, manuals, checklists, and policies.
• Implement and monitor compliance tools for multiple clients.
• Stay updated on statutory, regulatory, and industry developments.
• Handle client escalations and act as a single point of contact.
• Prepare reports for internal leadership and external clients.
• Liaise with internal teams to manage complex assignments.

Eligibility

• Prior experience in legal compliance under labour, HSE, admin, secretarial, finance, and sector-specific laws.
• Proficiency in conducting compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with compliance tools and handling multiple client implementations.
• Strong team management and client interaction capabilities.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
