Details of the Job/Internship

Trouw Nutrition is hiring a Legal and E&C Counsel with 5+ years of experience for their Hyderabad office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Report directly to the BU Counsel Asia (based in Bangkok).
• Provide legal and E&C advice and support to Indian companies.
• Manage outside counsel when necessary.
• Support the development and implementation of Legal and E&C policies, procedures, and templates.
• Conduct periodic E&C and legal risk assessments.
• Provide training on various legal and E&C topics.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and Nutreco’s policies.
• Participate in the management team of the General Manager of the Indian companies

Eligibility

• Law degree.
• India licensed lawyer or equivalent.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of contract, competition, and (basic) corporate law; knowledge of food law is an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in an international business environment.
• Experience in (re)drafting (international) agreements;
• Affinity with E&C work and willingness to develop in this role. Experience as an E&C Officer is an asset.
