Details of the Job/Internship
Hoi (means “Hello” in Dutch) is hiring for the position of Legal and Operations Intern to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Documentation & Compliance Support
- Collaborate with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders to support the drafting, review, and finalization of legal documents.
- Maintain a centralized tracker for legal documents including MSAs, MOUs, NDAs, addendums, and other contractual records.
- Ensure proper version control of legal documents by tracking feedback, changes, approvals, and execution status.
- Use Microsoft Word and Google Docs for document redlining, comparison, and commenting.
- Summarize key legal clauses, risk elements, and commercial implications of contracts for internal reporting.
- Monitor compliance obligations related to contracts, licenses, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
- Operational Coordination
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, procurement, and product to streamline documentation and project workflows.
- Assist in preparing SOPs, internal reports, and process documentation to support business operations.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance for documentation and legal administration tasks as required.
Eligibility
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Interest in or basic knowledge of IP law, technology contracts, or regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets.
- Strong understanding of legal document formats and an eye for detail in reviewing and comparing versions.
- Effective communicator with good organizational and time-management skills.
