Details of the Job/Internship
Prudential plc is hiring a Legal and Privacy Trainee in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have prior internship experience in-house or at a law firm, specializing in privacy and cybersecurity.
Role and Responsibilities
- Research IRDAI regulations and group policies to ensure compliance.
- Assist in drafting internal privacy policies and customer-facing consent forms under supervision.
- Review existing contracts for mandatory IRDAI and privacy clauses.
- Collaborate with teams to create data retention policies, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams for personal data compliance.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to refine and finalize drafts.
- Support privacy awareness campaigns by organizing tailored workshops for marketing, tech, and product teams.
Eligibility
- Degree: JD, LL.B., or equivalent from a recognized law college.
- Experience: Prior internship in-house or at a law firm specializing in privacy/cybersecurity.
- Skills:
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent legal research abilities.
