Details of the Job/Internship
Indigo Group is hiring a Real Estate Legal & Compliance Manager with 3–6 years of experience to manage legal compliance and revenue assurance across its property portfolio.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with real estate laws, RERA guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Draft, review, and vet lease agreements, sale agreements, and MoUs.
- Liaise with government authorities for registrations, approvals, and filings.
- Conduct compliance audits of property records and transactions.
- Manage property documentation, title verification, and due diligence.
- Identify legal risks and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor and reconcile revenue streams such as rent and lease payments.
- Ensure financial transactions align with legal obligations.
- Support finance in invoicing, collections, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Handle stamp duty processes and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with internal teams and support audits.
- Provide training on compliance and legal processes.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. (mandatory).
- 3–6 years of experience in real estate legal/compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, lease agreements, and land regulations.
- Experience with government offices and regulatory processes.
- Familiarity with due diligence, title verification, and documentation.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and coordination skills.
