WIZ is hiring a Legal and Tax Specialist with 1–3 years of experience to join its Chennai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, commercial, and labor laws
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
  • Advise internal teams and manage legal disputes
• Tax Compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings
  • Conduct tax planning and handle audits
  • Liaise with tax authorities
• Risk Management
  • Assess and mitigate legal and tax risks
  • Monitor compliance controls and stay updated on regulatory changes
• Advisory and Support
  • Advise senior management on legal and tax matters
  • Support business development with legal and tax insights
  • Conduct internal training sessions

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
• Professional qualification in Taxation (CA/CPA).
• 1–3 years of experience in legal and tax functions, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding sector.
• Strong understanding of Indian and international legal and tax regulations.
• Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.
