Details of the Job/Internship

Volody is hiring a Legal Assessment Intern to join its team in Goregaon. The role is designed for law students or recent graduates interested in core legal work as well as the application of artificial intelligence in legal functions, with exposure to contract analysis, legal research, compliance and legal technology.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in reviewing and analysing commercial contracts, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Conducting legal research on regulatory frameworks related to technology, AI, data privacy and intellectual property.
• Collaborating with the product team to understand AI-based contract analytics and risk identification.
• Supporting creation of training datasets by tagging and annotating legal clauses.
• Preparing legal notes, case studies and reports on legal tech trends.
• Participating in internal product testing and providing legal inputs to improve AI outputs.
• Supporting compliance and documentation related to data privacy and corporate governance.
• Using AI tools for legal research, drafting, summarisation and productivity enhancement.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Strong interest in technology, artificial intelligence or legal innovation.
• Good understanding of contract law, legal terminology and legal research.
• Familiarity with AI tools and legal tech platforms, including the ability to create effective prompts.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior exposure to legal tech tools, if any.
