Details of the Job/Internship

eBay is hiring a Legal Assistant with experience in patent docketing and operational workflows to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

•  Maintain the patent docket by capturing deadlines, verifying accuracy, and triggering reminders.
• Prepare and assemble filing packages, including specifications, claims, abstracts, and required forms.
• Coordinate and track legal signatures for declarations, assignments, and powers of attorney.
• Support AI-assisted drafting workflows by applying SOPs for formatting, citations, and version control.
• Partner with attorneys and outside counsel on submission logistics and update prosecution trackers.
• Compile and maintain reference libraries for prior art citations and portfolio metadata.
• Manage IPSC meeting operations, including agendas, materials, and tracking invention disclosures.
• Produce metrics and status reports for filings, office actions, and cycle times.
• Coordinate vendor administration, invoicing, and budget reconciliation for outside counsel.

Eligibility

• Experience in document preparation and docket management for intellectual property.
• Proficiency in applying style guides and SOPs for legal submissions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for handling sensitive data.
