Details of the Job/Internship
With Law legal firm is looking for a diligent Legal Assistant to support their team. The ideal candidate will provide a broad spectrum of legal services including drafting and proofreading legal documents and contracts, conducting legal research, and maintaining case files. The role involves direct communication with clients, administrative support, and assisting in litigation and non-litigation matters. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Role and Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
- Draft and proofread legal documents
- Perform legal and background research when required
- Assist in contract drafting and review
- Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents
- Writing articles, blogs, etc.
- Drafting of various agreements, MOUs, and other legal drafting.
- Drafting of Policy and Regulations.
- Maintain MIS
- Assist seniors in the firm.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- A minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a legal office.
- Experience in contract drafting and drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, petitions.
- Proficiency in legal research tools
