The company supports end-to-end collection operations, including legal notices, tele-collections, field teams, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
Details of the Job/Internship
Legodesk is hiring a Legal Officer (Banking) to support legal audits, document enforceability, recovery initiatives, and litigation management across jurisdictions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft written statements, applications, replies, and police complaints.
- Review, draft, and vet contracts and agreements.
- Draft responses to notices from advocates, authorities, or regulators.
- Gather case-related data and documents for drafting.
- Assist clients in arbitration, Lok Adalats, and conciliation.
- Onboard lawyers in different cities as per client needs.
- Maintain MIS for litigation involving the company or management.
- Coordinate follow-ups with advocates/legal officers.
- Ensure timely processing of advocate/vendor bills.
- Manage legal operations including legal notice dispatch and case filings.
Eligibility
- 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B. degree.
- Experience handling litigation (consumer, civil, criminal, and insolvency).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
