Details of the Job/Internship

Ishan Technologies is hiring a Legal Assistant—Non-Litigation to support legal operations, primarily in non-litigation matters such as contract drafting, legal research, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and employment contracts.
• Ensure compliance of contracts with legal standards and company policies.
• Conduct legal research on corporate law, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and other areas.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes impacting business operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies.
• Draft board resolutions and maintain corporate records.
• Manage legal documentation and assist in filings with authorities.
• Provide administrative support to legal counsel and team members.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a legal capacity, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary/Stipend
