Details of the Job/Internship

IBS Software is seeking an Assistant Manager – Legal with 7–12 years of experience, preferably from the IT industry. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial contracts, including SaaS Licensing Agreements, MSAs, Vendor/Procurement, Consulting, Partnership Agreements, and NDAs.
• Advise business stakeholders on contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage legal aspects of intellectual property rights, software licensing, and usage.
• Handle disputes related to IP and technology transactions.
• Support procurement and business units by maintaining and updating standard contract templates.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify, assess, and manage legal risks.
• Ensure compliance with international contracting standards and data protection regulations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred.
• 7–12 years of relevant legal experience in the IT or technology sector.
• Proven expertise in software licensing and SaaS model contracts.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property, data privacy, and technology regulations.
• Experience working with international clients and multi-jurisdictional contracts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently under tight deadlines.
