Details of the Job/Internship
Satguru Builders is hiring a qualified and experienced Legal Assistant – Real Estate with 5–10 years of experience in property and real estate legal work to join their office in Khar, Mumbai. The role involves handling all legal matters related to real estate transactions, land acquisition, redevelopment, and property compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet Sales Deeds, Development Agreements (Joint Ventures, JDAs), MOUs, NDAs, and Lease Deeds.
- Handle RERA compliance, including registrations, project updates, and agreement formats as per RERA norms.
- Liaise with external advocates, consultants, and clients.
- Maintain legal records, contracts, and case files.
- Provide general legal and administrative support to management.
Eligibility
- LLB – mandatory.
- LL.M – preferably in Property Law, Real Estate Law, or Business Law (optional but desirable).
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- 5–10 years of experience in property/real estate legal work preferred.
- Familiarity with the Companies Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, and Registration Act.
- Ability to liaise with Chartered Accountants and Architects for compliance-related matters.
- Experience in handling joint development and redevelopment projects.
