Details of the Job/Internship
Angeles Law PLLC is hiring a Legal Assistant for a full-time, remote position. The role involves supporting attorneys in immigration and federal litigation matters by assisting with legal research, document preparation, case management, client communication, and daily administrative operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in case preparation.
- Prepare, organise, and manage legal documents and case filings.
- Assist with case management and tracking of legal matters.
- Communicate with clients and manage correspondence professionally.
- Schedule appointments and support attorneys with administrative tasks.
- Ensure efficient operation of daily office procedures and workflows.
Eligibility
- Strong foundation in law and legal principles relevant to immigration law and federal litigation.
- Prior experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software is a plus.
- Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is an advantage.
