Details of the Job/Internship

Arns Davis Law is hiring a Legal Assistant to join their office in San Francisco.

Role and Responsibilities

• Complete new client intakes.
• Assist in preparing and filing a variety of litigation documents such as motions, briefs, ex parte applications, and other related documents in state and federal courts.
• Calendar court hearings, appearances, and response dates for assigned attorneys, and ensure critical deadlines are met.
• Prepare letters of preservation, offer to compromise, and organize documents for expert witnesses at the direction of attorneys.
• Assist with answering incoming phone calls.
• Assist with trial prep as needed (organizing exhibits, preparation of trial docs)
• Performs other related Legal Assistant job duties as required such as medical summaries and deposition summaries.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage simultaneous deadlines efficiently.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
