Details of the Job/Internship

ASN Housing is hiring a Legal Assistant with 5–6 years of specialized experience in real estate to join their Chennai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review essential real estate documents, including Sale Deeds, Rental Agreements, MoUs, and Construction Contracts.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for property registrations, Encumbrance Certificate (EC) checks, and thorough title verifications.
• Manage RERA-related documentation and ensure timely submissions to regulatory authorities.
• Maintain an organized repository of legal records, site approvals, NOCs, and statutory documents.
• Conduct rigorous due diligence on land and property documentation to mitigate acquisition risks.
• Verify building drawings and layouts in coordination with the CAD team to ensure legal descriptions match technical designs.
• Support overall compliance for civil and construction-related activities under local municipal laws.

Eligibility

• 5–6 years of experience in legal documentation specifically within the real estate or construction sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
• Basic understanding and ability to interpret CAD drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of construction approvals and regulatory processes.
• Strong drafting and professional communication skills.
• Familiarity with RERA and housing regulations.
