Details of the Job/Internship
Bitumix India LLP is hiring a Legal Assistant with 1 year of experience to join their legal team in Guwahati.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on various topics to support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the organization.
- Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure that legal documents align with the organization's policies and objectives.
- Assist in the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Monitor contract compliance and address any legal issues that may arise during the contract lifecycle.
- Assist in managing and coordinating legal proceedings, including working with external counsel when necessary.
- Provide support in gathering evidence and information for legal cases.
- Recover bad debts from clients through legal means.
Eligibility
- BA, LLB (Corporate) is a must.
- Proven experience working as a Legal Executive or in a similar legal role in a corporate environment is a must.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
