Details of the Job/Internship
Cheran Group of Institutions is hiring Legal Assistant with the experience of 4 year to join their office in Tamil Nadu.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation if required.
- Work closely with the compliance team to develop and implement compliance programs.
- Review and advise on company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Assist in the development and delivery of legal training programs for employees.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in corporate law.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law; additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a Legal Officer or in a similar legal role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution is a plus.
- Membership in a recognized bar association.
