Details of the Job/Internship
H K Acharya & Company (HKINDIA) is hiring for the position of Legal Assistant to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and format legal documents, including applications, responses, petitions, and notices related to IP matters.
- Assist with legal research, including reviewing case laws, statutes, and IP-related rulings.
- Support attorneys in case preparation and filing processes with relevant authorities.
- Maintain organized legal files and case records.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients regarding documentation and case updates.
- Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling, documentation tracking, and report generation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B. or LL.M.).
- Prior experience in legal assistance or administrative legal support (IP law experience is preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team.
