Details of the Job/Internship
Independent Power Producers Association of India is hiring a Legal Assistant with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- The Legal Assistant will be responsible for legal document preparation, and communication, providing administrative assistance, and supporting legal tasks within the association.
- He/She should possess strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal propositions.
- Draft petitions, plaints, replies, counters, rejoinders, complaints, written statements, and other legal documents, including brief notes, pleadings, notices contracts and agreements.
- Assist in preparing and briefing senior counsels for trials, hearings, and final arguments.
- Maintained, and organized case files and documentation
Eligibility
- Relevant experience of 3+ years in the Power sector, preferably gained in litigation, consulting firms, or through industry experience.
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in energy and corporate laws.
