Kudu company for food and catering is hiring a Legal Assistant with experience of 3 years to join their office in Riyadh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations, including health and safety standards, food labeling requirements, and licensing laws. Stay updated on changes in regulations and provide timely advice to the management team.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including supplier agreements, lease agreements, franchising contracts, and partnership agreements. Ensure contracts align with company policies and legal standards.
- Employment Law: Advice on employment matters, including employee rights, workplace policies, and dispute resolution. Assist in the development of employee handbooks and training programs to ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Guide risk management practices and assist in resolving legal disputes and claims.
- Intellectual Property: Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Address issues related to brand protection and enforcement.
- Litigation Support: Represent the company in legal proceedings, including disputes with vendors, customers, and competitors. Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with industry best practices.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in law or a relevant field.
- Valid Law Firm License.
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
- Corporate Governance: Understanding of corporate governance principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Contract Law: Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting commercial contracts, including sales agreements, partnership agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations.
- Intellectual Property Law: Experience with intellectual property rights.
- Dispute Resolution: Ability to handle and resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Employment Law: Understanding of employment laws and practices, including employee rights, labor relations, and workplace compliance.
- Risk Management: Skills in identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with business operations.
