Kwalee is hiring a Legal Assistant with experience of 2+ years to join their Bengaluru studio.
Role and Responsibilities
- Initial drafting, review, and analysis of commercial contracts.
- Contract lifecycle management including document production, e-signatures, organising, and filing.
- Maintaining and updating legal MIS and databases.
- Administration of legal tools and document systems.
- Supporting IP portfolio administration.
- Conducting legal, legislative, case law, due diligence, and industry research.
- Assisting with project work and internal policy implementation and monitoring.
- Supporting early-stage dispute resolution and data subject access requests.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- General administrative and ad hoc support to the legal team.
- Filing takedown notices for clone games and conducting proactive research.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Law Degree.
- Previous experience of 2+ years in a legal environment, preferably in-house within the video games or technology industry, with working knowledge of intellectual property.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with a willingness to find solutions.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow within a team.
- Based on-site in the Bengaluru studio.
