Details of the Job/Internship
People Tech Group is hiring a Legal Associate – Immigration with experience of 4–10 years to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end immigration filings for the US and other geographies.
- Prepare and review visa petitions, RFEs, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with external immigration attorneys or vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an immigration and compliance perspective.
- Maintain immigration trackers, case status reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws, timelines, and internal standards.
- Assist with audits, policy updates, and process improvements related to global mobility.
- Provide guidance to employees on visa processes, documentation, and timelines.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university.
- Hands-on experience in immigration filings, preferably US immigration matters.
- Strong knowledge of immigration processes, documentation, and compliance.
- Experience working with US immigration vendors or attorneys.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with US shift coordination and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Prior experience in IT services or consulting organisations is preferred.
