Details of the Job/Internship
Principal Global Services is hiring a Legal Assistant with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases from Westlaw and Lexis.
- Draft legal documents such as NDAs and access agreement templates.
- File, redact, and extract documents to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Generate and maintain legal templates for various purposes.
- Provide first-level operational support to the legal team.
- Participate in educational opportunities and read professional periodicals to stay updated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Accomplish organizational goals by taking responsibility for new and diverse requests and exploring ways to add value.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Proven work experience of 2–5 years as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Innovation mindset with a willingness to propose and implement new ideas and solutions.
