Details of the Job/Internship
Sankalp Group is hiring for the position of Legal Assistant with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist advocates and legal managers in preparing legal documents, notices, agreements, and contracts.
- Draft, format, and review legal correspondence and case-related documentation.
- Maintain and organize legal files, records, and case databases.
- Coordinate with external lawyers, courts, and government offices.
- Track court dates, hearings, and statutory deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
- Conduct basic legal research and follow up on ongoing matters.
- Support statutory and compliance documentation requirements.
- Handle documentation related to agreements, MOUs, NDAs, licenses, and approvals.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all legal information and records.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.
- Working knowledge of corporate law, labour law, and legal procedures.
- Strong drafting, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel for legal documentation.
