Details of the Job/Internship
The Hosteller is hiring a Legal Assistant Manager (Hotels/Hospitality) with 3–5 years of experience to join their team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on lease deeds, MOUs, LOIs, term sheets, notices, and hospitality-related contracts.
- Ensure statutory compliance, land acquisition documentation, litigation monitoring, and government liaisoning.
- Handle legal aspects of hotel operating licenses and ancillary agreements.
- Assist with sale agreements, title verification, land conversion documentation, and ownership determination.
- Support strategic business projects and partnerships from a legal perspective.
- Act as the primary legal liaison for hotel operations and pre-opening compliance.
- Monitor contract documentation, renewals, timelines, and deviations from company policy.
- Coordinate dispute resolution, including recovery matters, litigation, arbitration, and external counsel management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably in real estate or hospitality.
- Prior hospitality industry legal experience.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi.
