Details of the Job/Internship
Chambers of Sujoy Mukherji is hiring a Transactional Attorney with 3–5 years of experience for a secondment-based role in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as an embedded legal partner for a premium digital content/OTT client.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of media agreements, including brand endorsements and artist/talent contracts.
- Manage complex production, co-production, and content licensing agreements.
- Oversee OTT platform exploitation agreements and distribution mandates.
- Advise on deal structuring from both legal and commercial perspectives to minimize risk.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to ensure legal strategies support commercial growth.
- Drive high-impact transactions independently toward successful closure.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and align diverse business interests within the content ecosystem.
Eligibility
- 3–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Strong background in TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) and Media & Entertainment transactions.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of high-value transactions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Note: Freshers or candidates without the specific listed background will not be considered.
