Details of the Job/Internship
NxtWave is hiring a Legal Associate with 1+ years of in-house experience to support legal and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and assist in preparation of briefs and reports.
- Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in statutory filings, maintenance of registers, and regulatory submissions.
- Support corporate governance activities including board resolutions and documentation.
- Identify legal risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
- Provide general legal support and coordinate with internal departments.
Eligibility
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Minimum 1+ year of in-house legal experience.
- Strong understanding of contract law and compliance.
