Details of the Job/Internship
Rishit Bhatt & Co. is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough trademark searches and prepare comprehensive filing reports for clients.
- Manage the complete trademark filing and prosecution lifecycle.
- Represent clients and attend show cause hearings before the Trade Marks Registry.
- Draft and file legal pleadings, including oppositions, counterstatements, and affidavits.
- Prepare detailed written submissions for opposition hearings and contentious matters.
- Oversee and manage client portfolios while maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Qualified to practice Law in India (LL.B. degree).
- 2–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) specifically in trademark prosecution.
- Thorough knowledge of substantive and procedural Trade Mark Laws.
- Proficiency in both oral and written English communication.
- Strong drafting, legal research, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage strict deadlines with high attention to detail.
