Details of the Job/Internship
Olyv India (formerly SmartCoin) is hiring a Legal Associate – Collection with relevant legal and recovery experience to join their office in Bengaluru East.
Role and Responsibilities
- Initiate legal action in default cases as referred by collection supervisors.
- Handle proceedings in all legal cases in a result-oriented and timely manner.
- Manage cases filed by or against the company.
- Maintain MIS and generate stage-wise and date-wise legal reports.
- Ensure proper representation of cases handled by external agencies.
- Attend court proceedings as needed.
- Manage accounts receivable functions.
- Handle NPA/loss cases and customer disputes.
- Address police complaints.
- Reduce costs on agency commissions and payouts.
- Supervise collection team productivity and coordinate staff activities.
- Implement strategies for effective debt recovery.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate collection department staff.
Eligibility
Relevant legal experience in collection, dispute management, and recovery processes. Strong team coordination and legal knowledge required.
