It also advises on regulatory issues, foreign exchange laws, employment laws, and documentation.
Details of the Job/Internship
SR Law Practice is hiring a Legal Associate – Commercial and Corporate Law with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts including share subscription agreements, shareholders’ agreements, founders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, master service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, privacy policies, data protection agreements, terms of service/user agreements, licensing and technology transfer agreements, employment and consulting agreements, employee policies, lease and asset purchase agreements.
- Assisting in M&A transactions, joint ventures, venture capital investments, and due diligence.
- Conducting legal and regulatory research and providing advice on commercial laws, corporate laws, employment laws, intellectual property laws, FEMA, RBI, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Managing client communication and the execution of legal documentation.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with 1-2 years of PQE in corporate and commercial law.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of corporate laws, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
