Details of the Job/Internship

Virtusa is hiring a Legal - Associate Consultant with 1–3 years of experience to join their legal team in Andhra Pradesh. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate various agreements including MSAs, SoWs, licensing, vendor, lease, and channel partner agreements.
• Support sales, procurement, and partnership functions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Provide legal advisory on HR and general company matters.
• Maintain and update legal templates and documentation.
• Support client/internal audits and due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with global teams in EMEA and APAC regions.
• Report to Corporate Counsel based in India.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate and law degrees from reputed universities.
• Bar admission in any Indian state.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firm with a focus on general corporate commercial law.
• Candidates with only litigation, arbitration, in-house, or LPO experience will not be considered.
