Corteva Agriscience is hiring for the position of Legal Associate (Contract) with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation Support:
- Liaise with external counsel/lawyers and internal stakeholders.
- Compile and manage case documentation.
- Prepare for court appearances and hearings.
- Track case status and report key developments promptly to legal management.
- Drafting & Documentation:
- Draft and review agreements, engagement letters, and responses to legal notices.
- Maintain MIS records and manage internal legal documentation.
- Coordination & Reporting:
- Administer litigation management tools, ensuring accurate status updates.
- Coordinate instructions and follow up with external counsel for timely progress on cases.
- Prepare periodic reports on litigation and other legal matters.
- Additional Support:
- Assist in other legal functions and projects as needed.
Eligibility
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Knowledge of legal principles, litigation processes, and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience with law firms and familiarity with court procedures (highly desirable).
- Experience with litigation and billing tools (preferred).
