Details of the Job/Internship
Treelife is hiring a Legal Associate – Contracts with 3-5 years of experience to join its office in BKC, Mumbai. The role involves managing end-to-end contract lifecycle processes, drafting and negotiating contracts, and implementing privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate mid-complexity contracts, including SAAS contracts, MSA, SOW, amendments, and change orders.
- Ensure quality control in process delivery.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities, including database recording, renewals, extensions, renegotiations, amendments, and terminations.
- Develop and implement processes addressing privacy and data protection laws for India and abroad, including GDPR and COPPA.
- Support clients in implementing and sustaining efficient processes.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed institute.
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house corporate counsel exposure.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to complete critical tasks on time.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and oral).
