Details of the Job/Internship

Treelife is hiring a Legal Associate – Contracts with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in BKC, Mumbai. The role focuses on drafting and managing contract lifecycles, including global contracts and data protection compliance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate mid-complexity contracts (e.g., SAAS contracts, MSA, SOW, Amendments, Change Orders).
• Ensure quality in process delivery by checking deliverables.
• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle management activities, including renewals, extensions, amendments, and terminations.
• Develop and implement privacy and data protection processes for India and abroad, including GDPR and COPPA.
• Support clients in implementing and sustaining efficient processes.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed institute.
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (preferably in-house corporate counsel exposure).
• Organizational skills and flexibility to complete critical tasks on time.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and oral).

Salary/Stipend
