Treelife is hiring for the position of Legal Associate - Contracts with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently or collaboratively draft, review, redline, and negotiate mid-level complexity contracts such as SAAS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, Amendments, and Change Orders, securing favorable terms for clients.
- Ensure high standards of quality by reviewing and validating deliverables prior to submission.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including tracking and maintaining executed agreements, managing renewals, extensions, renegotiations, amendments, and terminations.
- Assist in developing and implementing privacy and data protection protocols compliant with Indian laws and international regulations such as GDPR and COPPA.
- Support clients in streamlining legal processes and building scalable, effective contract and compliance workflows.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognized and reputed institution.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably with prior in-house counsel exposure.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage critical tasks within tight timelines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven contract negotiation expertise.
