Treelife is hiring a Legal Associate – Contracts to join their office in BKC, Mumbai. The role offers exposure to GDPR implementation, global contracts across APAC, MENA, and LATAM regions, and contract lifecycle implementation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate mid-complexity contracts such as SAAS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and change orders.
- Ensure high quality in process delivery by quality-checking deliverables.
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle activities, including storing fully executed agreements, and handling renewals, extensions, renegotiation, amendments, and terminations.
- Develop and implement processes and controls for privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR and COPPA.
- Support clients in implementing and maintaining efficient and effective processes.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed institute.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with in-house corporate counsel exposure.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to complete tasks on time.
- Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
