Details of the Job/Internship
JIITAK Inc. is hiring a Legal Associate - Corporate & Compliance with experience of 3-7 years to join their office in Kochi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and maintain board resolutions, company policies, contracts, and governance documentation.
- Ensure statutory compliance under the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable regulations.
- Liaise with ROC, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in data governance, digital policy formation, and IT Act compliance.
- Draft and review data protection, information security, vendor agreements, NDAs, and policy documents.
- Coordinate with senior advocates and external counsel on corporate and regulatory matters.
- Prepare summaries, filings, and maintain legal timelines and records.
- Maintain a repository of legal records and corporate filings.
- Identify risks and suggest preventive strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Train the AI agent on legal matters, compliance workflows, contracts, and SOPs.
- Convert legal processes into structured workflows and review AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of Kerala preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, or cyber law roles.
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act, IT Act, and digital compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English and Malayalam.
