Details of the Job/Internship

JIITAK is hiring a Corporate Legal & Compliance Associate with 3–7 years of experience to support its office operations. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain board resolutions, policies, contracts, and governance documentation.
• Ensure statutory compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and related corporate regulations.
• Liaise with ROC, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Support data governance, digital policy formation, and IT Act compliance.
• Draft and review data protection, information security, and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate with senior advocates and external counsels on corporate and regulatory matters.
• Prepare filings, summaries, and documents for legal or compliance proceedings.
• Manage legal timelines, filings, and record-keeping.
• Draft and vet agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and policy documents.
• Maintain a structured repository of legal records and filings.
• Identify risks and propose preventive strategies aligned with business needs.

Eligibility

• LL.B degree; Bar Council of Kerala enrollment preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, or cyber law.
• Working knowledge of the Companies Act, IT Act, and digital compliance frameworks.
• Strong drafting and communication skills in English and Malayalam.
• Excellent coordination, organizational, and documentation skills.

Salary/Stipend
