Details of the Job/Internship

Rx100 Ventures is hiring a Legal Associate – Corporate Law with 2 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves drafting and reviewing agreements, preparing contracts, conducting legal research, and assisting in negotiations while ensuring compliance and minimising risks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet corporate, commercial, and investment-related agreements.
• Prepare agreements specific to private equity and venture capital transactions.
• Support negotiations by preparing draft proposals, revisions, and maintaining version control.
• Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Maintain structured documentation of legal matters, agreements, and supporting records.
• Liaise with external counsels and stakeholders for reviews and approvals.
• Identify legal risks in agreements and recommend commercially viable solutions.
• Stay updated with changes in corporate and securities law impacting agreements or negotiations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institution; LLM preferred but not mandatory.
• 2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Strong exposure to drafting and negotiating agreements, especially in private equity and venture capital transactions.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research and apply findings effectively.
• Excellent drafting, reviewing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to documentation and record management.
• Ability to identify risks and provide practical legal solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Immediate joiner preferred.

Salary/Stipend
