Details of the Job/Internship

Opptra is hiring a Legal Lead with 3–5+ years of experience to support its global expansion initiatives. The role focuses on enabling fast and compliant market entry across India, GCC, and Southeast Asia.

Role and Responsibilities

• Enable rapid multi-country market entry through streamlined legal incorporation and regulatory approvals.
• Build scalable compliance frameworks for online and offline retail operations across regions.
• Develop cost-efficient legal structures using standardisation, automation, and smart contracting.
• Implement agile legal infrastructure, including contract lifecycle management and legal technology tools.
• Support high-volume cross-border contracting and compliance operations with speed and accuracy.
• Act as a trusted legal advisor to leadership and internal teams on strategic decisions.
• Ensure legal involvement early in product launches, partnerships, and market expansions.
• Manage external legal counsel across jurisdictions and align multi-country legal advice.
• Support governance, company secretarial matters, and statutory filings across regions.

Eligibility

• 3–5+ years of legal experience with multi-country exposure across Asia.
• Hands-on experience with entity setup, foreign investment regulations, and cross-border operations.
• Expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, IP, employment law, regulatory compliance, and secretarial matters.
• Experience building legal frameworks from scratch and scaling them for growth-stage businesses.
• Comfort with legal technology, contract management systems, and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• High standards of integrity, ethics, and sound legal judgment.

Salary/Stipend
