Lexicon Legal is hiring a Legal Associate-General Corporate & IPR with experience of 0 to 3 years to join their office in Surat.
Role and Responsibilities
- As a Legal Associate, you will conduct legal research and analysis on corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law issues; draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts,
- Agreements, and pleadings; assist with IP portfolio management, corporate governance, and due diligence for transactions;
- Communicate with clients, ensuring regulatory compliance; support litigation matters; manage case files, track deadlines, and engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on legal developments in corporate and IP law.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognized law school.
- 0-3 years of experience in corporate and/or intellectual property law.
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles, contract law, and intellectual property law.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research databases.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
- Business Acumen: A good understanding of business principles and practices is helpful, especially when advising clients on IP strategies and corporate transactions.
- LLM in Intellectual Property Law or related field.
- Experience with trademark prosecution or patent licensing.
- Familiarity with online court filing systems.
