Details of the Job/Internship

StuCred is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–2 years of experience to support its legal and compliance functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and applicable laws.
• Draft, review, and manage legal agreements with stakeholders.
• Conduct quarterly audits of vendor and partner agreements.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and coordinate with external counsel.
• Conduct legal due diligence and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Advise internal teams on legal, contractual, and policy matters.
• Stay updated on NBFC regulations and industry developments.

Eligibility

• LLB degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the NBFC or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and corporate laws.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.

Salary/Stipend
