Details of the Job/Internship
Lummus Technology is hiring a Legal Associate I (Paralegal) with 0–3 years of experience to join their team in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and negotiate standard outgoing NDAs based on established corporate standards.
- Review and identify compliance issues within third-party NDAs and negotiate terms according to attorney guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and finalization of non-standard contracts, including vendor and supplier agreements.
- Manage the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and maintain an organized electronic and physical contracts database.
- Conduct third-party compliance screenings and related due diligence processes.
- Support Intellectual Property (IP) matters by developing a basic understanding of licensing grants and ownership rights.
- Assist in managing the employee hotline and incident management application, including triage and reporting.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, labor and employment, and corporate compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Diploma in Paralegal Studies, Certificate in Paralegal Practice, or a recent BBA.LLB.
- 0–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and office systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support U.S. time zones.
- Specialization in corporate laws is considered a plus.
- Preferred skills: Experience with corporate entity management, SharePoint, and intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables).
