Details of the Job/Internship
Lawmax Advocates & Solicitors is hiring a Legal Associate (IBC & Insolvency process) with experience of 6 to 8 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Proficient in English – speaking, writing, and drafting skills.
- Drafting of appeals, petitions, applications, replies, and rejoinders related to IBC, filed before the Hon’ble NCLT, NCLAT, High Courts, and Supreme Court.
- Other compliances required for conducting CIRP/Liquidation Process.
- Drafting of other petitions, applications, and appeals, along with appearances before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Courts, and District Courts.
Eligibility
- PQE: 6–8 years in the field of insolvency and corporate laws.
- Qualification – Law degree (LLB/LLM).
- A qualified Company Secretary will be an added advantage.
- Good subject knowledge of IBC, 2016, company law, and other laws.
- Should have procedural knowledge of the CIRP and the liquidation process as envisaged under the IBC.
- Should have working experience in the field of insolvency and restructuring.
- Should have confidence and the appetite to work on new projects and be ready to accept challenges.
- Should have administrative and managerial skills.
- Should be proficient in drafting of appeals, petitions, applications, replies, and rejoinders related to IBC, filed before the Hon’ble NCLT, NCLAT, High Courts, and Supreme Court.
- Appearance before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, and District Courts.
