PropLegit is a Fin-Legal PropTech platform catering to the BFSI sector, including Banks, NBFCs, and Housing Finance Companies, for managing loan portfolios through end-to-end services. The platform embeds RBI’s Fraud Risk Management Framework parameters, such as EWS and RFA, by automating property-linked lending processes to reduce NPAs and mitigate loan risks. Over the past six years, PropLegit has established itself as a trusted unified digital platform for property risk mitigation, management, and compliance in loan portfolio management.

Details of the Job/Internship

PropLegit is hiring a Legal Associate – Land & Property Law with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is a full-time position. The role involves handling land and property matters, preparing title opinion and title certificate reports, verifying ownership chains, reviewing system-generated legal reports, and collaborating with Banks, NBFCs, and Financial Institutions. The candidate will also support the development of an in-house legal quality assurance team and stay updated on property laws and land registration procedures in Gujarat and other states.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare Title Opinion and Title Certificate Reports after conducting comprehensive land record investigations and title searches.
• Verify ownership chains and legal status of mortgaged land or properties for specified years.
• Review and validate system-generated Legal Opinion and Title Clear Reports for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Banks, NBFCs, and Financial Institutions to obtain documentation and address legal queries.
• Support the establishment of an in-house legal quality assurance team for BFSI clients.
• Stay updated on state-specific property laws, land registration procedures, and real estate regulations.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized Government University.
• Enrolled with the State or National Bar Council with a valid license to practice law.
• Valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).
• 1–2 years of experience in land or property law, title searches, legal opinions, and title certifications.
• Prior experience working with Banks, NBFCs, or Financial Institutions, with preference for empaneled lawyers.
• Strong understanding of property laws, land registration procedures, and real estate transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Gujarati and English.
