Founded in 2019, the company is a key Technology Service Provider (TSP) in India’s Account Aggregator (AA) network, enabling over a hundred institutions to leverage data-driven intelligence.

Details of the Job/Internship

Finfactor is expanding its legal department and is seeking passionate professionals for two distinct roles: Legal Associate (Freshers) and Legal Counsel (2–4 years of experience). 

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end management of legal operations to ensure alignment with fintech business objectives.
• Draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, and partner engagements.
• Conduct legal research on evolving regulations, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and RBI guidelines for TSPs.
• Assist in maintaining legal records, compliance databases, and statutory filings.
• Navigate and mitigate legal risks associated with open finance, data sharing, and AI-powered analytics.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Sales, Finance) to integrate legal safeguards into business workflows.
• (For Counsel) Provide advisory support on complex legal matters and assist in developing governance strategies.
• (For Associate) Handle administrative legal tasks and provide research support for ongoing projects.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Experience: * Legal Associate: 0 years (Freshers with a strong legal foundation).
• Legal Counsel: 2–4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong attention to detail and keen analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and a basic understanding of corporate/tech law.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune.
• Preference for immediate joiners.
