Details of the Job/Internship

Contract Bazaar is hiring a Legal Associate – Litigation, IPR & POSH with 3+ years of experience to join their on-site office in Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters end-to-end, including pre-litigation strategy, drafting, court coordination, and case tracking.
• Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, written statements, rejoinders, and legal notices.
• Coordinate with external counsels, senior advocates, and court officials.
• Appear before courts or tribunals for routine and procedural matters, where applicable.
• Maintain litigation trackers, hearing updates, and timeline compliance.
• Handle trademark, copyright, and design filings, including prosecution and registry correspondence.
• Draft responses to examination reports, oppositions, counterstatements, and evidence.
• Conduct IP searches, infringement assessments, and brand protection advisory.
• Draft and review IP-related agreements including assignments, licensing agreements, and NDAs.
• Assist clients with POSH policies, SOPs, and Internal Committee setup.
• Act as POSH advisor during complaint handling and inquiry processes.
• Draft and review inquiry reports, findings, recommendations, and closure documentation.
• Prepare and review annual POSH reports and compliance filings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Provide practical legal advice aligned with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with statutory timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain MIS, trackers, and documentation.
• Conduct legal research and support knowledge management initiatives.
• Guide junior team members and interns and contribute to process improvement.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in litigation, IPR, and or POSH compliance.
• Strong drafting skills and practical understanding of court procedures, IP registry processes, and POSH law.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• High standards of integrity, discretion, and accountability.

Salary/Stipend
